The Men’s Center is a resource for you to identify solutions for issues and problems you may be experiencing as an individual, as part of a couple or as a family member. We are well-trained clinical therapists who will partner with you as you develop your authentic self, optimize your abilities and strengths and bring about positive changes in your life and relationships.
We offer services in our offices as well as on-site services for business and organizations. We also do home visits for the chronically ill.
We offer a variety of services, including:
We offer individual therapy to help you identify your needs, limitations, strengths and motivation. We will then collaborate with you to develop a framework for making positive changes in your life. We will continue to support you as a strategic partner as you make productive life choices and become more effective in resolving issues that may be holding you back.
Couple’s therapy offers a third-party perspective on how to resolve conflicts that may cause anger and distance in a relationship. It also serves as a way to empower couples to approach their differences in a healthy and constructive way. Learn More.
Family therapy focuses on how patterns of interaction contribute to identified problems and assumes that the family as a whole is larger than the sum of its parts. Depending on circumstances, the therapist may point out interactive patterns that the family may have not noticed or suggest different ways of responding to other family members.
The Men’s Center can help you define your goals and develop effective strategies for reaching your goals. Our coaching services are designed to help you on a one-to-one basis.
Employee Assistance Programs (EAP)
The Men’s Center can help you design Employee Assistance Programs for your company or organization. These programs are tailored to your organization to help your workforce deal with personal problems that might adversely impact their work performance, health and well-being. EAPs generally include assessment, short-term counseling and referral services for employees and their household members.
Critical Incident Stress Debriefings
Critical Incident Stress Debriefings address violence and other traumatic events that occur in the workplace. We facilitate methodical discussions on an individual basis or in small or large groups. CISDs are designed to help trauma victims cope and resolve challenging emotions and stress.
Speaking Engagements and In-service Trainings
Well-versed in many health and wellness topics, The Men’s Center staff can present on many topics, as well as offer in-service trainings for businesses in communication, conflict resolution and teamwork. We collaborate with you to create tailored sessions that are relevant to your specific work group and environment.
We have experience consulting with employers on human resource issues, such as procedure and policy development and problems within work groups. We also offer Critical Incident Stress Management Services as well as supervisory coaching and development.
The Men’s Center offers forums to address a variety of issues and concerns. These forums are time-limited and, though there is a built in supportive element to the presentation, it should not be equated as group therapy. Our forums include an educational component as well as time for the audience to interact with the facilitator as well as other participants. Learn More.
