Our Clinical Therapist
Roseanne Flamm received her bachelor's degree in social work from Bethel University in St. Paul, MN in 1985. After 4 years of employment as an inpatient substance abuse counselor and hospital social worker, she went on to pursue her Master's in Social Work through the University of Iowa in 1991. She received Licensed Individual Social Worker (LISW) status in 1996. She has 20 years of clinical experience with specialties in addictions and Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services. Roseanne has served as a consultant to many local businesses on issues, such as employee performance, coping with change, drug free workplace, and threat of violence. She is currently employed as a Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP) at Alcoa, Inc. Davenport Works, where she has practiced as an independent contractor since 1998. She also remains a Certified Alcohol and other Drug Counselor (CADC) in Illinois.
Roseanne enjoys working with couples desiring marital enrichment. She is qualified in the use of PREPARE/ENRICH which is an instrument used by Marriage and Family Therapists to assess couples’ strengths as well as areas of their relationship needing skill development. PREPARE/ENRICH is also designed for premarital counseling and assessing expectations in second marriages that may involve blending families.
In addition to couples work, Roseanne is experienced in working with:

- Stress Management
- Women's Issues; Coping with illnesses impacting sexual intimacy and self-esteem
She is a member of the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation (ICISF) and experienced in providing Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) services. She has received specific training from ICISF on trauma response during disasters, and other smaller scale traumatic events. She has been called upon by employers to provide services as a part of a team responding to such things as robberies, workplace fatalities, and industrial accidents.
Roseanne is qualified to speak on many issues, such as marriage enrichment, relationship skills, coping with change, stress management, living a balanced life, healthy boundaries, and recovery from addictions (alcohol, drugs, gambling, internet, etc.). Her use of humor and cartoons to illustrate key concepts make her educational presentations both interesting and enjoyable.
